The Right Kind Of Exercise

There are two kinds of individuals on earth, those who exercise themselves in doing good and those who exercise themselves in doing evil. Those who are nourished by God*s truth (the Bible) will exercise themselves in doing good and those who reject God*s truth will exercise themselves in doing evil. Those who are influenced by God will do good and those who reject His influence will do evil. Those who exercise themselves in good will get stronger in that and those exercise themselves in evil will get stronger in that. The differences between the saved and lost should be increasingly obvious.

Ezekiel 22:29: The people of the land have used oppression, and exercised robbery, and have vexed the poor and needy: yea, they have oppressed the stranger wrongfully.

2 Peter 2:14: Having eyes full of adultery, and that cannot cease from sin; beguiling unstable souls: an heart they have exercised with covetous practices; cursed children:

2 Timothy 3:13: But evil men and seducers shall wax worse and worse, deceiving, and being deceived.

Hebrews 5:12: For when for the time ye ought to be teachers, ye have need that one teach you again which be the first principles of the oracles of God; and are become such as have need of milk, and not of strong meat. 13 For every one that useth milk is unskilful in the word of righteousness: for he is a babe. 14 But strong meat belongeth to them that are of full age, even those who by reason of use have their senses exercised to discern both good and evil.

1 Peter 2:2: As newborn babes, desire the sincere milk of the word, that ye may grow thereby:

Jeremiah 9:24: But let him that glorieth glory in this, that he understandeth and knoweth me, that I am the LORD which exercise lovingkindness, judgment, and righteousness, in the earth: for in these things I delight, saith the LORD.

Acts 24:16: And herein do I exercise myself, to have always a conscience void of offence toward God, and toward men.

1 Timothy 4:7: But refuse profane and old wives* fables, and exercise thyself rather unto godliness. 8 For bodily exercise profiteth little: but godliness is profitable unto all things, having promise of the life that now is, and of that which is to come.

Ecclesiastes 1:13: And I gave my heart to seek and search out by wisdom concerning all things that are done under heaven: this sore travail hath God given to the sons of man to be exercised therewith. 3:10 I have seen the travail, which God hath given to the sons of men to be exercised in it.

Hebrews 12:11: Now no chastening for the present seemeth to be joyous, but grievous: nevertheless afterward it yieldeth the peaceable fruit of righteousness unto them which are exercised thereby.

Psalm 131:1: LORD, my heart is not haughty, nor mine eyes lofty: neither do I exercise myself in great matters, or in things too high for me.
